Case Works uses a peer to peer, mutual aid model to facilitate access, strengthen networks, and build community. By using this platform, all participants agree to the following Code of Conduct:
- We are here to listen, engage, and support each other with care and integrity. We will respect the privacy and dignity of our peers, and honour their rights, beliefs, and personal values.
- Any guidance or information provided is based on shared lived experiences, and should not be considered legal or a professional service.
- Sessions on the Case Works platform shall be held in utmost confidence. We will not exploit the peer relationship to our advantage or the advantage of others, and will not divulge any information shared in a Case Works meeting without clear and current consent of the other party.
- We acknowledge that if mistakes are made and harm is caused, that we will hold ourselves and each other accountable.
Feedback:
To ensure the responsiveness and accountability of Case Works a feedback form will be provided, by email, after each session, an anonymous form will also be available. Feedback will be read by MANO staff who will follow up on complaints within seven days. Complaints regarding MANO staff will be examined by the MANO BOD who will follow up within seven days.
