Community Consultation Tour

This year, MANO/RAMO received a Trillium Foundation development grant to embark on a province-wide community consultation tour. The consultation will provide an opportunity for outreach and information sharing about how we can work together to create meaningful connections and partnerships, as well as raise the profile and understanding of the media arts among the general public. We will be conducting a series of facilitated sessions about the sector and the important role that MANO/RAMO can play. We hope to see you at one of our scheduled stops or joining the conversation on Facebook at: need to set up group.

The feedback will be gathered to inform the strategic plan of the organization, informing organizational goals and activities for the next three years.

MANO/RAMO Community Consultation Tour

MANO/RAMO was born out of the extremely successful administration and execution of the IMAA national ON.Fire conference, hosted in Toronto in 2010. Following the overwhelmingly enthusiastic response from conference participants and funders, MANO/RAMO was able to leverage the momentum and success of the conference and translate it into annual operating funding and ongoing organizational activities.

As part of its mandate, MANO/RAMO will host a bi-annual conference in rotating locations across the province. The next conference is tentatively scheduled for January, 2013, in Ottawa, in partnership with SAW Video. Stay tuned for more information.
