Advocating for the Media Arts

One of MANO’s key roles is to undertake advocacy initiatives on behalf of our member organizations and the media arts community at large. MANO is committed to working with members, funders, and communities to foster appreciation and understanding of, and artistic and professional opportunities for, media arts administrators and independent artists. We also play a key role in supporting the advocacy initiatives of our peers at the local, provincial and national level.

MANO is committed to supporting the important role of the media arts in the artistic landscape of Ontario. As a young and evolving discipline, the media arts is historically underfunded in comparison with traditional disciplines and we will continue to strive for equity at all levels for the sector.
