The Media Arts Network of Ontario (MANO) is seeking Board Directors with qualifications in advocacy, governance, community engagement, publishing, fundraising, HR, strategy, and financial or legal expertise.
We are seeking interest from any staff or board representative of a MANO member organization or collective. We aim to have a Board composition that represents both Ontario’s diversity and geography.
This is a great opportunity for media arts cultural workers in the early stages of their career looking to gain experience or for someone wanting to offer their existing expertise to develop initiatives that create meaningful impact for media artists and organizations. Please pitch in or encourage your staff to apply!
Board Members are expected to attend monthly meetings and to work collaboratively with our new Executive Director, Elida Schogt, as well as with MANO staff.
Board Members serve a two-year term. We are seeking volunteers available for a minimum of 4–6 hours a month. Our meetings take place remotely during business hours.
Please share a brief statement of interest and your resume as a single pdf attachment using the subject heading Board Application to firstname.lastname@example.org before October 20th, 2022.
