MANO/RAMO will be in Thunder Bay to participate in the 10th edition of the Bay Street Film Festival running from September 3–7, 2014. We will be hosting a Regional Meeting with arts organizations and artists in Northern Ontario as well as a workshop on Basic Bookkeeping and Project Management for Media Artists and Emerging Organizations.

This workshop, delivered by the Media Arts Network of Ontario / Réseau des arts mediatiques de l’Ontario (MANO/RAMO) will give you the resources to financially manage your artistic projects.
Basic bookkeeping tools and tips will enable you to keep organized and produce records for grant reporting and financial control. The financial section will be followed by a session focused on project management for effective planning, execution and reporting with an overview of public sector grant writing.

MANO/RAMO will be hosting a regional consultation with artists and organizations in northwestern Ontario towards creating a survey of activity in the region and developing initiatives to support the production, exhibition and distribution of media art. If you represent a collective, organization or are a working artist this is an important opportunity to discuss your projects and what they need for success.
