MANO/RAMO  is call­ing on all cul­tural work­ers and artists engaged in the media arts in Guelph, Kitch­ener, Water­loo, Cam­bridge and sur­round­ing region to gath­er for an infor­mal dis­cus­sion at Ed Video on Sat­ur­day Octo­ber 17th. This round-table fol­lows on a series of sim­i­lar events held across Ontario ear­lier this year descrip­tion.

MANO/RAMO and Ed Video are inter­ested in dis­cussing the Region’s strengths, in order to for­mu­late pos­si­ble oppor­tu­ni­ties for future col­lab­o­ra­tions. How can the numer­ous media arts orga­ni­za­tions, fes­ti­vals, the strong media and tech­nol­ogy busi­nesses and research insti­tu­tions work togeth­er to serve the region’s artists and gen­eral pop­u­la­tion? How can proac­tive activ­i­ties and involve­ment trans­late into ini­tia­tives that strength­en the grow­ing sec­tor just west of Toronto?
