Media City is an annual international festival of film and video art presented in Windsor, ON and Detroit, MI since 1994. Each year the festival showcases approximately 75 new films and videos in all gauges and formats in its International Competition Series. Media City also hosts retrospective programs, LIVE performances, residencies, and workshops with visiting artists and filmmakers in attendance from around the globe. Exhibitions, installations and additional special programming is presented at the Art Gallery of Windsor, The Detroit Film Theatre at the Detroit Institute of Arts and other venues on both sides of the border.
