Following up on Evolved or Perished? MANO’s November round-table presented with the Images Festival, we are calling on cultural workers and artists working in media arts for an informal discussion March 5 at Trinity Square Video. This discussion will focus on how choices are made between the shifting priorities of public and private funders and artists while paying the rent, keeping the lights on and staying healthy.

How can organizations keep a focus on the art while priorities and metrics shift? Can arts organizations and artists drive change or do political and economic agendas beyond the sector set the agenda? What strategies can be used to build productive change for the media arts in Canada?
