Over the past weeks artists, arts orga­ni­za­tions, and col­lec­tives have shared in the com­plex and chal­leng­ing expe­ri­ence of grap­pling with the effects of the COVID-19 pan­dem­ic. As shut­downs of arts venues, stu­dios, and pro­duc­tions are extend­ed through the next months to help pre­vent com­mu­ni­ty tran­si­tion it is impor­tant to ensure access to infor­ma­tion and sup­port in all regions.

Fol­low­ing from MANO’s ongo­ing com­mu­ni­ty round­ta­bles and con­ver­sa­tions this dis­cus­sion held in part­ner­ship with N2M2L will pro­vide an oppor­tu­ni­ty to check-in, share infor­ma­tion, and build mutu­al aid net­works. Hol­ly Cun­ning­ham of N2M2L and Ben Donoghue of MANO will pro­vide cur­rent advo­ca­cy updates, and Alana Forslund the North­west­ern Rep­re­sen­ta­tive of the Ontario Arts Coun­cil will be in attendance.
